The Villa d’Ambre was renovated in 2013 by Christophe Delorme.
A gifted and visionary winegrower, it had been his wish to develop an ambitious wine-tourism activity to complement winegrowing at the Domaine de la Mordorée.
Ideally situated, the villa overlooks an outstanding panorama of vineyards, with, stretching out in the distance, the stunning setting of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Mont Ventoux, the Luberon and the Alpilles ranges.
The Villa d’Ambre is decorated in a minimalist style, close almost to Zen, where to live out one’s well “being”.
Situated between the village and the vineyards, in a quiet environment though not isolated, the villa is surrounded by a garden and has a large pool (fifteen meters by seven meters).
Built on a height and overlooking a landscape of vineyards, this 360sqm building has an eastern facade that is entirely glazed, allowing it to fully enjoy the outstanding panorama.
On the terrace along the southerly façade, you will find tables and chairs allowing you to take your meals.
The villa, which is rented complete, has two levels in open-space design, with two vast living rooms with lounge, dining-room and kitchen areas, all very soberly fitted out so as not to distract from the most important thing: the beauty of the site.
Each of the 6 rooms is decorated with style.
– 4 rooms opening on to the pool, bay laurels, the old mill and the vineyards
– 2 rooms on the first floor, overlooking archaeological remains and the Alpilles
– the large mezzanine on the second floor is divided into two areas and can sleep 4 persons; it overlooks the vineyards with a view of the Alpilles range.
The Villa d’Ambre offers you suspended moments — moments during which you forget the villa itself to perceive
