Discover the Lirac appellation, one of the most southern appellations of the Rhône Valley. The vineyard is located on the right bank of the Rhône on a limestone plateau.

Terroirs

The terraces of the Villafranchian period, with the largest : the Plate au de Vallongue i s divided between Lirac and Tavel. These terraces with cobble stones are terroirs that are particularly adapted to the vine culture, giving deep and complex wines.

The gently sloping hillsides and scree to the south of the rocky bar of Saint Génies, a mixture of stones from the Villafranchian period and limestone scree from the of the Oregonian period on a substratum of astian sands and clays.

The astian sands of Saint Laurent and Lirac

The soils are very rich in red silica and there are red sandstone rocks, which is very rare for this region. The vines planted here produce excellent, deep and fresh wines.
